US government planning to introduce study abroad branch
In a step to increase the number of US students with an international experience, the US Department of State is planning to introduce a study abroad branch that will make diversity among study abroad participants and promote non-traditional destinations.
Primarily the government of US is planning to send 300,000 us students to Western Europe with an excellent faculty and with international standards.
The study abroad office will work with the State Department and White House’s 1 lakh strong initiatives in China and the Americas that will promote a two-way mobility between the two countries.
The government is also planning to relaunch the Capacity-Building Program for US Undergraduate Study which provides institutional grants to the US colleges .
